Default ls turbo vs, lsvtec turbo

So ive got a ls turbo integra, its pretty nice but im kind of in a dilemma. Ive read up on the two and just trying to get some more opinions before friday. IM either putting a gsr head on it with itr cams and a s2 im. OOOORRRR for just 300bucks i can get a pnp b18b head, crower 402 cams and crower full valvetrain, portmatched b18 im. What do you guys think would be worth it? Money for power. 400-vtec head, 300- built ls head?

built LS head... You gotta realize putting on a vtec head on your block is gonna require some additional stuff...

So its not as easy as just slappin on vtec... Just still with the built nonvtec head... With valvetrain, cam, port job... You gonna be right there with LS/Vtecs

Go with the nonvtec head. Whatever deal your getting on that head is insane. Those 402 cams will breath all the way to 7600 or so.

$300 B18B1 ported and polished head, Crower 402 Camshafts, Crower Valve train, and port matched B18 intake manifold FTW!!!

You will be way better off and it will be cheaper. Let alone way easier to tune.

Yeah considering the crower 402's new at 300+. Get the built LS head, the ITR cams alone will run you 300 bucks, plus making sure your bottom end will reliably hold the higher RPM will take extra cash as well. If you search for how to build a reliable LS/VTEC b20/VTEC you will see there is a decent amount involved.

The Golden eagle kit alone to convert to a VTEC head is like 450 bucks.

If you want to make serious power the vtec head IMO would be the way to go. Your going to make a lot more power with less boost.

But you are getting a really good deal on that non vtec head.
