I'm kinda curious as to why you'd want to do this?

i'd like to lower the boost on my internally wastegated td05h-18g. the actuator arm is long as possible already. i need a weaker spring i believe. or an actuator assembly with a weaker spring. they dont look like you can take em apart and swap the spring like a Tial.

tzsir, that way i could use the boost control solenoid. i'd like to roll off boost near redline for testing/ safety reasons.

Oh thanks, I never thought about it that way. I can see that as being a good idea.

You could try using a secondary adjustable spring which fights the stock unit's spring.

I lengthened the actuator on my t25 and it opened at about 5 or 6psi, only problem is it creates lag since the wastegate is always open.
