Lost vtec

Default Lost vtec

Put my new 450 dsm's in yesterday and changed the setting on the afc to -35% across range, starts and idle's perfect but there is no vtec. the afc has been in for weeks so its not that. any ideas?

Check the oil.

Just do the usual checks...oil level, wiring on the afc, and oil pressure. If you want to know if your vtec solenoid is working properly, you can jump the solenoid. You should hear the vtec solenoin click when you send power to it.

Ok , found the problem. There was a bad connection on the vtec soleniod. Must have knocked it when i was putting the injecters in.
