Default vtec cleaning??

my car seems like it's going in and out of vtec and i was wondering if it just needed to be cleaned?? if so how do i go about that??

Just pop it out and dip it in some soapy water, that should fix it.

vtec is dependant on rpm. maybe what ur experiencing isnt vtec i would say maybe the timing is off and the car is jerking. what is it doing exactly?

timing would effect the vtec an cause the hestitation in the vtec? how much off would you notice a significant difference?

And what do you mean by "cleaning" vtec?

check your oil level, vtec is dependent on sufficient oil/pressure and if your low on oil this will cause the vtec to cut in and out if there isnt sufficient pressure.

My boy had that same problem with his DOHC Del Sol, turned otu he only had 1 quart of oil in his motor.....he's not that bright.....
