Default Looking for creative methods to hiding turbo system...

I recently dropped a b18b into my 92 civic and will be starting to piece together a turbo system soon. I'm trying to find a way to basically hide the entire thing in the engine bay. I'm in Canada so there aren't any laws I'm trying to get around with this, its just something I want to do. My goal for the car is to be a real sleeper. Everything about the car looks stock (some parts are oem honda from other cars, but it all works well and its hard to tell it didn't come that way).

Some ideas I have so far I got from a car spotlight thing in a magazine (I think SCC), where a guy hid the pipe from the intercooler to the throttlebody inside the stock intake, and modified a heatshield from a miata to cover the turbo. I won't be needing a huge intercooler for my setup so I will be adonizing it black or maybe using a sidemount or something.

If you guys could give me some ideas from other setups you've had/seen that would be great. I've searched but most systems are blatently showoffy (new word ). I figured I would ask this now so I can plan it all out. Because I don't yet have ANY parts this allows me to pick the parts that would suit this best instead of being forced to work around what I have. Also I want to get a ramhorn style manifold, but I doubt I could really do anything to hide that even halfassed. Any ideas? I won't ditch the ramhorn just because it will be seen, but for my goals I might not need it either. Thanks guys!

My goals power wise are about 220-250whp on 91 octane, but I'm more concerned with reliability and a smooth power curve as this is my daily driver. I will be taking this to a very good local tuner and will most likely be using Uberdata if that makes any difference. Any suggestions on turbo sizing and manifold design? I'd like something that will give me a fatter powerband instead of a peaky curve, keeping fuel mileage in mind. I don't want to spend a ton on my setup so I'm starting to think a ramhorn isn't for me right now. I'll be using stock internals and once the turbo is in and tuned I won't be looking for more power down the road (I'd rather start fresh with another car).

EDIT: no ac or ps.

Would it be worth it to get some mild turbo cams (something that wouldn't bind the stock springs) for my goals? I know you can get at least 300whp on stock ls cams, but I'd need more pressure in order to reach the same numbers as I would with better cams, right?

there is a turbo kit designed to be underneath the car, I forgot who made it i think a company called Squire. Anyways it bolts up like right behind the muffler. I personally wouldn't recommend hiding it but thats your choice

Yeah I saw that article in SCC that your talking about. He hid the BOV in the stock air box and everything. as far as hiding everything I would try to work with a log manifold, you aren't going for real high numbers and you'll get better spool times. good luck

i believe you guys are talking about STS...

http://www.ststurbo.com/

You could go that way (pretty expensive i believe) or build your setup and cover up all the stuff.

Good lUck.

Not interested in STS's system, but thanks for the input.

Does not having an equal length manifold hurt anything besides performance? Would it cause a shorter turbo life?

Are there any log-style manifolds you would recommend? I've seen quite a few shitty ones with the shortest runners on earth and the wastegate mounted on ONE runner. I know I've seen some better ones, but I have no idea who makes them.
