im looking to get a turboed hatch with a B-something in it. im on a budget so i figure ill get the car and motor now cuz i need something to play with and when i save up some mula i will re-build the motor and turbo it. im kinda in between a B16 and B18b. id do a C1 but like i said im on a budget and either of the 2 can make 300 to the wheels, i don't know perhaps ill go a little less. which of the two should i go for?

 

any b-series can make 300hp with a good tune

 

b18b turbo is the way go if you are on a budget

yep, and to be honest, you wont really even need to rebuild it, as long as its in okay conditiion. a stock b18b can make 300 with a good tune.

 

Go with the b16. It has a better tranny and better head. You can always swap a 1.8L block in there later.

i am running a stock b16 with a ls trans making over 300 hp w/neptune
