Look what I found!
I have been losing my mind over which turbo I should get for my GS-R for quite a while. I was wanting something that was cheap, reliable, quick to spool, and would give me boost up to redline (6 or 7psi max). Well, I think I may have found it.
I was looking at MHI turbos because everyone seems to think that they are pretty reliable and well made. The only problem was that no one makes a manifold with a Mitsu style flange for a B-series motor.
After much searching I found that http://www.hahnracecraft.com has a "Super" 16g that has a T3 flange and a larger exhaust housing than a Big 16g.
What does everyone think of this? I am not worried about high boost levels becuase I am not looking for serious power. Just something fun and have an easy time building a kit with. 6 to 7psi is enough for me. I also want to keep a stock block.

Re: Look what I found! (2.2)
sounds liek it'll produce some nice flat torque levels with a ahealthy amount of mid range power.
good for 300 or so i think! looks good. what else do you plan on running for your setup?

Re: Look what I found! (tegasaurus)
Here is what I plan on doing for the turbo kit:
Super 16g
DIY manifold
DIY DP
Spearco FMIC
DIY Charge Pipes
Hondata S100 w/boost
DSM Injectors
Blow-off valve (not sure what kind)
Exhuast (not sure what kind)
That is about all I can think of right now. I just woke up, so I am sure I am missing something.

Re: Look what I found! (Tinker219)
Me and a friend making it. Although, If I could find an equal length tubular manifold that would let me keep my a/c and was priced ok, then I may get one.
