Longetivity of the GT30R BB turbo?
Just wondering the how long will the Gt30R turbo last me? Roughly?
Anyone with personal experience on their daily?
Im piecing together a Kit and this is the most expensive part of it.. $1000 for the turbo is making me question how long this is gonna last me on my daily driven 1.8L Gsr Semi-built. Givin the oil changes every 2000 miles, regular maintenance, ect.
And I dont like to race all day or go light to light.. so any experience with your ball bearing turbo's is welcome. When I buy the turbo and dyno tune im aiming for 500 whp and 300+ lbtq high boost but daily in the 400's whp.
If it can last me 2 years with the above info then ill be satisfied with the upcoming purchase.

I agree, but you must maintain it (oil changes).

Man U FTW
The only hesitation that i have w/ using a ballbearing cartridge is that if anything happens to the compressor wheel, you have to replace the whole cartridge. Other than that, i wouldn't worry about it wearing out on you if you maintain your setup well

i think its the turbine wheel you're talking bout if it gets damage that you're gonna have to get a whole center char w/ it...
