i would use high temp silicone in between pan and flange over jb weld.. jb is not flexible and will crack off and leak.. or make a gasket out of universal gasket paper... make sure that line isnt rusted bad or about to crack in any spots too or u will regret it later.. make sure u got loctite on them bolts too. u dont want a nut falling into the oil pan

Re: (EJ8CIVIC)
u def need a gasket or it will leak like crazy.. trust me i tried stuff like that alot.. at least clean it really good and use automotive silicone as a gasket but it still may leak.. id use paper.. it does look really high up.. also. if its too high just cut the flex part out and use rubber heater hose to reconnect both ends.. thats what i run on all my turbo cars and its fine. just dont kink the hose

Re: (EJ8CIVIC)
i can almost gaurentee its gonna be too high.. so u may as well find a rubber hose that will fit snugly around it for when u cut it.. i had a greddy mani and from turbo to oil drain on pan it was only like a 2" drop
