i'd be a little worried about the longevity of the stock sleeves.

Stock sleeves and an OBX manifold...that doesn't exactly scream "reliable." If you want to make that power, you're going to be pushing those sleeves close to (or past) the breaking point.

Come again?? If you know the sleeves are past their breaking point, why are you still trying to push it??

sleeves are questionable into that power range, some will hold, some will not... if they do last through the dyno tune, its going to be a question for how long, even if it is only a track car. Why spend all this money on all these parts to just break them because you didnt want to spend a little more...at least put a block guard in it... Have you checked the efficiency of that turbo? Is it going to put you where you want? there is alot of good articles on this site on how to properly size a turbo/manifold/intercooler/wastgate. I was going to recommend this site
http://forums.evans-tuning.com...2fed8
,but it looks like you already posted there. We are not trying to scare ya, but if you want that thing to last any amount of time at that power level, then something is going to have to be done about those sleeves.

For 600 hp you should really sleeve that motor to not risk other parts that will also be damaged as a result when you crack a sleeve

I would also like to know what you guys feel the stock ls sleeves can handle. I have heard so much misinformation and back and forth on the subject, what do you guys think?

run it on race gas and try to keep temp down on the motor

people have made 500+ on stock sleeves but they will break sooner or later

Why chance that high of a HP level on stock sleeve's. Spend the extra grand and KNOW the sleeve's arn't going anywhere. Cheaper in the long run...And no worries.
