Default lock tite? oil pickup tube

sorry if this is the wrong forum but I know this is were alot of engine builders hang out and I will never get an answer in other forums.

so when I put the oil pickup and windage tray on a motor... I know I am supposed to torque it to just a hair under 9 ft. lbs. (8.7 to be exact).

this does not seem like alot... I dont want the bolts to back out, so would I be retarded to use some blue lock tite on these to make sure they dont come loose? they just seem like they had more than 9 ft. lbs on them when I removed them originally?

am I just overthinking this or what? thanks gents.

If they do back out on you it is form the excessive vibrations and lock tite would solve this problem.

It does'nt hurt to loc-tite them, I have. Plus it gives you peace of mind, if those come loose, engine goes bye bye
