lock tite? oil pickup tube
sorry if this is the wrong forum but I know this is were alot of engine builders hang out and I will never get an answer in other forums.
so when I put the oil pickup and windage tray on a motor... I know I am supposed to torque it to just a hair under 9 ft. lbs. (8.7 to be exact).
this does not seem like alot... I dont want the bolts to back out, so would I be retarded to use some blue lock tite on these to make sure they dont come loose? they just seem like they had more than 9 ft. lbs on them when I removed them originally?
am I just overthinking this or what? thanks gents.
