can't you read the directions? 
i have no idea if you open it up and lay everything out maybe it would give me a better idea of how it goes together and what the oil/lube might be used for.

**** lube for the price you just paid on that stuff , really dont know maybe to lube at the connection point to keep from corrosion from happening ?!?

it's just a little joke they play on us americans. when they send their stuff over here, they include a little squirt bottle of **** and tell us it's for corrosion prevention. the ammonia in the urine actually prevents corrosion, so we never ask any questions. they just laugh
