A little bit of studdering along with an occasional CEL.
I used to have a bad studdering/bogging problem with an o2 CEL(that really meant fuel system problem) while my speedo wasnt working. fixed my speedo and studdering/bogging mostly went away(along with the CEL). i can sense it hesitating slightly occasionally while accelerating at a nice constant pace now and the o2 CEL is popping up again on occasion. it doesnt mean there is an o2 problem but that there is some sort of fuel problem. HELMS says to check fuel pump, injectors, or regulator. it isnt the pump(i swapped out another one) so what would be a good way to check the injectors and regulator. i do seem to be getting slightly low mpg(mid-low 20s city: B18B in vx) but i have run a few bottles of that injector cleaning crap in there. what should i do/check/etc?

Replace your fuel filter and check if you have any vacume line leaks than report back and will go from there...

fuel filter was replaced when i swapped the motor about 8k ago, so it should be fine. what is a good way to check for vac leaks?

A good way to find vacume leaks is by looking at all of your hoses and than what I do is put some soapy watter in a sprayer bottle and spray it on the hoses one by one and check to see if you got any bubbles forming or if you got watter being sucked in now your going to have to have your car running for this one of course..
But anyways how does it spotter or miss tell us more about that...
I would also check your plug gap and definitely replace that fuel filter because you could have just sucked a peace of dirt up and clogged it, its a cheap reasurrance thing anyways...
