leaky head gasket?/ new turbo setup
Ok heres the setup. Stock B18B in a 93 hatch with a custom turbo kit consisting of:
- t3/t4 63 a.r., stage 2 wheel on exhaust side, 60 a.r., 57 trim on compressor side
- MP manifold, tial 35mm
- 2 1/2" dp and exhaust
- msd 6a, blaster coil, btm, stock wires, bcpr7es plugs
- HKS AIC w/ two 460cc injectors before the tb, rx-7 turbo 2 pump, stock regulator
- 2" ic piping from turbo to intercooler, 2 1/4" from ic to tb
After the initial test run and playing with the aic and btm, we got the car to pull reeeally hard at only 7 psi. Now I know I shouldnt be tuning without a dyno so bare with me. The stock clutch gave up about a half hour later. I pulled the motor to change the clutch and timing belt. I noticed there is oil seeping down the block where the head gasket is. I blew 3 head gaskets on my old single cam turbo motor so I'm watching out. The idle started to get a bit jumpy to after boosting it around for a little-same thing that happened when I used to blow head gaskets. Is it pretty safe to say that while messing with the btm and aic I could have had some detonation/incorrect timing causing the h-gasket to blow or start leaking? Is it too late already? I really dont feel like pulling the head.

Re: leaky head gasket?/ new turbo setup (turboeg)
probably over torqued the head gasket or it is leaking due ot undertorquing 7psi on b18b stock trim is nothing for that motor.
