Law of unintended consequences...
Boost is good...but, what ill effects can it produce on your car? Last night I checked my PCV valve and realized that is was shot and that I could blow through it both ways. Using my boost gauge, a while back, I found out I could only produce about 1.5psi of pressure...this means that when boosting I'm possibly pushing upwards of 7psi into my crankcase!
Hooking up catch-can prior to turbo, tonight.
This got me thinking about other things that might be bad, particularly...how will extended periods of boost (1/4 miles, road course, etc.) affect your brake booster and thus the effectiveness of your brakes?!
Should the vac. source be relocated to the intake pipe before the turbo? Are we slowly killing our boosters? I honestly have barely any idea how these work, but it doesn't seem that this would be good.
What about EGR and charcoal canister systems?

Well, that makes sense but I think if you hook the PCV up to the turbo intake, the turbo will be pulling air thru the filter all day instead of thru the PCV. I'm not sure if there's really any vacuum in your intake tube?
Also, if there were any REALLY ill affects, I'd think somebody would have noticed by now. Some guys have had turbos on for years and years and I've never heard of anybody blowing up a brake booster or anything.

You need to check the threads already going we had this discussion already. You're bringing up stuff I always thought about. I moved all my vacuum lines so they would actually get vacuum. Better to be safe than sorry.

There's vacuum if the air is moving at any kind of rate through a restricted orifice like a intake tube attached to the turbo. It's also been my experience that some of the guys rolling around with turbo'd cars from old aren't too keen on the actually upkeep so their car are unrelieable then after a while (2-4yrs.) they get out and sell the car. A brake booster won't just die in 2 years. They're made to last at 10 years. I would think it would just shorten the life.

somehow i doubt that you'll be using your brakes while boosting...so i dont see how the brake booster woudl be effected in any way
