Default boost problems

i just finished putting mt setup on and im not getting boost.
I have a blitz tt with the built in boost gauge when i drive it has a vacum of 70 at idle then drops all the way to 0 but doesnt show any boost. I also cant feel a diffrence i can hear the turbo spinning and i can see it. I have a turbonetics waste gate and a garret turbo. I have all the vacum lines hooked up right. I got the lines going from the boost controler to the top of the waste gate. Any help would be appreciated

I think i have my blow off valve connected wrong is it supposed to be from the manifold to the blow off valve or from the turbo housing?

Mine is connected to the manifold, just check and make sure your charge pipe is clamped good and no air is leaking between the turbo and manifold.

There is vacuum but no boost.... I'd start with checking wastegate then BOV.

The way I set my BOV:let the car idle and put a piece of paper(long enough so that it's flappy/flexible) in front of the BOV outlet set it 'til paper barely gets sucked in. BOV shouldn't be all the way open when idling.

Having an open down pipe actually gives you slightly more boost so I wouldn't think that that's a problem.

I hope what I said makes sense to you.

interesting. It's weird though cuz I know of some dumbass that molested a perfectly good saab and is now trying to sell it with a broken 15t turbo. Back on point though, he was driving without a downpipe and didn't have a problem boosting to 22psi...until the shaft snapped in half.

Congrats!!

you guys are so lucky in the States. I mean the fact that there are tuners you can trust/rely on and tuners you hear about that are good. There are a few tuners in Canada but really pricy and cocky. lol So I do everything myself.
