Re: B16 with Presicion SC6031E turbo.....
Well considering it's not built, I wouldn't go too far above 300WHP...i'm sure that people have done it, and still do...but to be on the safe side, I wouldn't. But when calculating that, I usually count 10HP per psi...so maybe around 12 or so...it all depends on how much HP you're generating. Anyone have a better answer?...Somebody with a turbo B16 needs to answer this for him.

That turbo is way too big for that motor. You'll see full boost by 6000rpm maybe. The t3/t4 would've been a better choice on a stock b16. I'm running a .60 t3 on my stock b16and I don't see full boost til about 4500rpm at 10psi.

That turbo IS a T3/T04. The E version is the equivalent of the Garrett T3/T04E 60 trim, which I agree, does make the B16 rather laggy in comparison to say, a T3/T04E 50 trim. Its very close to a 60-1 turbo, but it does reach maximum pressure earlier than 6000 rpm on a stock B16 (granted how efficient the turbo setup is).
I tried one of these on my stock LS, and it wasnt bad, but I switched to an SC-34 (57 trim), and the powerband was a little better.
To the OP: for future preference, set your power goal first, what you want to do with the car, and then choose your turbo to match your goals. You say your planning to build the motor, what kind of power will you be shooting for when that happens? That will dictate the decision of keeping this particular turbo also.
