Just put on the turbo not getting any boost !!! please help
I just finished installing my turbo on my 2001 ITR. After clearing up some oil leaking problems with the tee's and stuff i went for a drive. I havent heard the BOV once. When looking at the BOV and reving it just steadly opens off. I have a BLitz blow off and its been adjusted in and out.
Here are the connections
BOV - FPR line
FMU - FPR line
Boost Gauge - FPR line
Watsegate - side port to port on downpipe flange
Someone please help me
I have a port on my intake pipe after the BOV would that be good for the wastegate port?
I appericate any help i have been working on my car for a week now -- headgasket- ic piping work blah blah blah i just wanna hit boost

What kind of kit is it?If it is Drag, did you trim the webbing on the block.I have seen a lot of people that did not and the manifold leaked really bad.The side port on the wastegate should go to a source that reads boost-particularly ooff of the compressor housing on the turbo. The BOV and FMU should be off of a vacuum source on the manifold.

Thanks for the reply - very impressive numbers from your ITR
its my own kit i guess, i am using a maxrev manifold, didnt need to shave for the turbo and using a drag downpipe.
Would i be able to use a source after the BOV but before the TB??

Also on accasion i get white smoke coming out off my air brether to the valve cover. What can that be? Just from freshly working on the head and what not, like fingers on the camshaft holder plate and things like that?

What kind of boost gauge are you running? Are you sure you hooked that up correctly?

I used to have a huge fluttering/compressor surge problem when I had my bov hooked up to the fpr. I found a new line for it and it works like a charm now. See the picture of where I hooked it up.
