Default Just got back from dyno..NEED HELP

Ok, so i just drove 6 hours to get my car tuned today. Got the injectors idling good...little partial throttle tuning...went to do a blast and here is what happened......

Setup:

Full-Race Manifold
SC61 stg.5 wheel /e housing/.60 .63
Tial 40mm wastegate w/ 13psi spring

Went to do my blast with the boost controller on but turned all the way down and the boost went through the roof...ok, no big deal. Turned the boost controller off and just used the spring...figuring i'm gonna boost 13 psi and BAM it creeped to 18psi and kept going.

so..
Is the wheel on the turbo to big to run with that wastegate on only 13psi?
Is my wastegate to small?
Is the placement of the wastegate on the manifold bad?
Do i need a 44 or 46mm gate?
Whats the deal?...any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

what kinda boost controller and how is it hooked up? does the boost just spike fast and you have to let off or is it a steady creep through the rpm's?

Greddy Profec B. It is hooked up properly..even the tuner verified it. There is a T that goes to the lower portion of the wastegate/the turbo/to the IN on the profec b box. It is just a fast spike...5-10-15-18-etc

Did you search through your vacum lines to see if one ripped/melted/popped off somewhere?

If the spike doesn't seem to be controlled at all then you probably have a vacum leak. do you know where you car idles on the boost guage in vacum?

no vacuum leaks...and all vacuum lines are good. Idles at about 20 in/hg

Tuner said to radius out the wastegate hole and get a 46mm gate and it should solve the problem.

you might need a larger wastegate

boost controller is bad.....the selenoid must be stuck open on the greddy box. i guess i'm a fu*&cking idiot for not totally eliminating the boost controller in the first place.

Thats why I use Manual Boost Controllers now...EBC are too buggy. Imagine if that motor was stock sleeves, or stock. Boom...
