Default just did an oil change and #$%^&*&

so, im boosted.

i got a d16y8 with a drag turbo kit. fuel management is hondata on stock injectors, but im going to get rc soon. anyways, this was my 1st oil change and i dont know but for some reaon white smoke came out like crazy!!! before i did the oil change, it didnt smoke, in fact it never had smoke coming from the exhaust at all.

could it be i used too much oil? i poured in only 3.5 quarts of valvoline full syn. oil. i know i should have used mobile 1.

also, i did a compression check and it 4 of them came out to be over 200, which i know is already good. i check the coolant, no change. i think i might do a leak down soon.

also, another thing it was really cold outside and i let the motor sit for a while, like 5 mins more or less. could this have contributed to the smoke. if so, can someone explain to me why it was doing the same thing this mouring and after i got home? weird, but i need you help.

You're still running stock injectors? I hope you still have an FMU?

I put too much oil in my car once . It didn't smoke, but I smelled burning oil for a little while. I think most of the excess escapes out the oil separator on the back of the block and gets into the intake.

Did you spill oil on the downpipe? Clean up underneath the filter? It will pool there and drip on the DP if it's not all cleaned up.

Yea, but Hondata with stock injectors? That's not going to be enough fuel under boost at all.
