just did a compression test. 190 185 170 175 How are these numbers?

Default just did a compression test. 190 185 170 175 How are these numbers?

the car sat for less than a month.

its a sleeved gsr block 84 mm cp pistons 9:1.

are these numbers good enough to run for a solid season?

obviously you would want them to be higher, and a little closer together in number, but like he said above, not too bad. Try that engine restore. I used that on an old car I had and 300 miles later my compression really did go up about 25 psi in all 4 cylinders.

Try a leakdown test, it is much more precise.

no i didnt start the car or anything and let the cylinders warm up. i guess i should have ran the car a little before i tested. i just thought 190 to 170 was a big difference.

will they bump up consistantly or will the 170 bump up to around 190?

Do you guys think my numbers will be more consistent if I warm the car up prior to a compression check?

why don't you just go do another test with it warm
this is retarded stop asking the same question
there is no way for us to know
just run the test the right way and than you will know for yourself
