what kind of cars do you guys with a turbo run with on the streets/track and at what psi boost are you running?

@ 19 psi on a stock block!

Are Sentra blocks closed deck? and what kinda of compression?

 

19psi! Damn, that engine's gotta be a SR20DET transplant out of a Bluebird or a Sunny. Is it?

 

Yes, no open water jackets around the cylinder wall!

 

I have 8.5:1 CR since I have a Bluebird SR20DET, but the US Spec SR2DE can handle just as much boost on 9.5:1 CR. I have several buddies in the 350-409 WHP range on stock blocks w/ 9.5:1 CR. The highest WHP dyno figure so far is 409 WHP @ 22 psi with no headowrk or bottom end work, at all!!!!! Another buddy of mine layed down 392 WHP @ 20 psi on a bone stock SR20DE! These things are beast *** blocks from the factory! I am hoping to push 475-500 WHP on a daily driven SR20DE with pistons & rods. I should have my motor done here in 2-3 weeks! I will keep everyone informed!

 

That is just sick.... I have GOT to convince my friend to go turbo on his friggin' SR20!
