Default Jumping idle

What would cause my idle to go between 1100-2000? I had a leaking coolant line but fixed that. It doesn't idle like that until it warms up, it just idles around 1800 until warm. I also took out the valve out of my stock catch can and ran a line directly to my greddy catch can. So my catch can is connected to the valve cover and the stock catch can. I'm getting water in my catch can now. There is no water in the oil though and it will smoke white out my exhaust alot sometimes? Any help I'm stumped.

I pulled the IAC and it looks clean I may swap it out though. I have my TB collant bypassed but I've had that for a while with no problem. Would a leaking coolant hose cause this? Anyone with any insight on why H2O would be in my catch can?

If it's not the IAC or fast idle valve, then 95% chance you have a vacuum leak somewhere. It only takes a very small leak to cause a bouncing idle. It took me two months to finaly track down that my Autometer boost gauge vinyl line was slightly cracked.

Check your coolant level in the radiator a leaking coolant line would definitely cause that.
I bet this is your problem....

I have to check that.. my gauge is off a little and hmmmm sounds logical... mine bounces then give me a code after a while... i have a new iac to put in.. time to trace down vacume lines..

I had that problem when I did my swap, try just adjusting the idle screw, thats all that it needed when I had that problem, and also check the vacuum lines in front of the throttle plate, as that can also cause more air to enter the intake man. at idle. It doesnt do it when it is cold because your engine's idle is controlled by your iac until it is warm. Just try the idle adjust. Good luck bro.
