JRSC with CAI and 3" Thermal exhaust?
I know a cold air intake is the last thing I should be thinkin bout but just wondering if it would help with the intake charge much with my JRSC? Is it worth it? Will I even notice? I heard that the short ram intake is better since the blower needs quick air as quick as possible. Also, is a 3" exhaust worth it when I upgrade to 10 psi? Or is my 2.5" greddy evo exhaust good enough? Just don't want to spend unecessary money if no need. But atleast if the exhaust will help I'd like to do it. Plus I am in the market for a new exhaust anyway. Or will the 3" exhaust hurt me? Should help right? Same as turbo the more flow the better? Or is the exhaust really just meant for cars with turbo?

A 3" on a non turbo car is gonna be obnoxiously loud. You may gain 3 ponies after 7K RPM's, but is it really worth it???

Comptech Icebox = best of both worlds. Short ram with cold air. (kinda pricey though)
2.5 exhaust seems like plenty.

I would imagine a 3" exhaust on a JRSC setup would be ridiculously loud. I know mine without a resonator with the turbo setup was crazy loud.
Id stick with the 3" Short Ram, and youre probably good to go with a 2.5" exhaust. I ssay it every time...the most impressive JRSC dyno #'s Ive ever seen @ 6/7 PSI were with 2.25" exhausts. I'd imagine even at 10 2.5" is plenty.

Best I have found is :
Intake , the shortest largest diameter works the best , try and get e freash air supply to it ie , some kind of heat shield.
Exhaust : I made 296whp with a 2.5 exhaust 31" magnaflow resonater and mugen twin loop muffler, after dropping the muffler and B pipe it gained 2 peak horsepower and was so load it wasn't funny.
Get some ear muffs if you go 3"

Re: JRSC with CAI and 3" Thermal exhaust? (MUTANT X)
I personally would throw the 3'' on. At 11psi exhaust flow is very high, sound doesnt really bother me too much coming from the Apex N1. However, some may feel differently regarding the sound issue
Rboosted put down around 280whp on a JRSC a while back using the 3'' Thermal
General rule of thumb in a FI application is to get the highest amount of airflow possible going.
As for the intake, the Comptech if you have the change for it would be the best bet. They actual make a JRSC specific intake.
