this may be true..but there are options.. smaller companies who are offering just as good (if not better) then alaniz.. im not trying to thread jack im just saying... people should do more reasearch before just off and tossing thousands to a larger company when you are treated (as this guy seems to be) as just another number.. its been my experience in retail auto sales that smaller shops give a little more for less...not to mention more attention to customer detail and customer service... yea alaniz does good work..but if you cant get the work done in a timely fashion or get your parts back for that matter what good is it??...sounds to me like he may be out of a head.. heads arnt cheap..no decent part is

You are right the smaller shops sometimes help you out more(this being they want more customers)...

If i had a choice i would not send another head back to him. I would either go to portflow or headgames!!! Anybody can port a head but can they do it the right way..I think this is the readon why joshua sent his head out to Joe(for being famous for his headwork). There is no substition for time and the time that has been wasted on getting this head back is rediculous. GL Slowmotion on your case and hope you have learned not to deal with this guy. I apologize for not doing anything more.

This was the last time I could actually get joe to contact me:

Oct 4 2006

"I am finally ready to put this thing together but I have one more problem. The locators "where the springs sit" are missing and I dont know where the hell they are. I have ordered new ones from Honda today and they should arrive Friday/Monday. Were almost there so Im just giving you an update so you know whats up. I will mail you Friday to see if the locators have arrived. Thanks

Joe Alaniz"

So he lost some of our parts and said he would replace them but nothing since!

Thank you for trying rip94delsol, truely thank you very much!!

Keep you guys posted!!

EMAIL I GOT TODAY!!

I am sorry for not responding but there was no good news to give to you guys and I didnt want to get you hopes up. Please check your email tomorrow afternoon. FEDEX will pick up the head tomorrow and you will recieve it by the 30th. Please track shipment to see status.

I also gave the head the new ALANIZ Asymmetrical valve job for 2007. No one else in the industry does this because it is so hard to do. Lots of extra work done here.

I have tried my best to give you guys as much free work to ease the big mess I have caused. There were a few other customers that were unhappy with my time laps but in the end I have made peace with them and am back on track. I hope we can still do business.....I know im pushing my luck...anyway

I know there is nothing I can say or do to keep me as your cylinder head provider but I hope in the near future word will get out that I am getting things done in a timely fashion.

Thanks you very much.

Joe Alaniz

Well we have it back!!!

Joe installed some supertech valves instead of the ferera valves we sent.

But atleast we have it!!

Who know what the answer will be if there even is one about the swapped valves.
