JG Block and sunk sleeve

JG Block and sunk sleeve
I have made every attempt to contack JG engine dynamics and when I am fortunate they give me the run around. DO NOT PURCHASE THIER PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEM!
With that said, the JG block had many issues such as:
- Sunk Sleeves
- Bad oil pan gasket
- Bad water pump
- Was suppose to be bored with larger pistons, but were stock
These problems resulted in an investment of thousands of dollars and tons of time to only end up with a pricey paper weight.
Now, I have to deal with my mistake of trusting Javier and his shop.
I have the oppritunity to purchase a B20 or B18B long block to replace the JG block. I will build the block in three months but want it installed soon so I don't have to use my wife's car. Which would be a better block for a JRSCd B16 head? The B20 is known for weak sleaves but the displacement might give me extra low end grunt. The B18B has higher compression and this is attractive because I droped the compression to 9:1 on the JG block and missed the zip of the high compression B16A it replaced.
The block will be installed in a 99 Honda Civic Si. Please help. Your help is always appreciated!!

Re: JG Block and sunk sleeve (TeStUdO)
They claimed that their *** is covered due to their "disclaimer." I already tried to get ahold of them many times. The only time I got a responce was when I left them a message on their answering machine. I told them that I was going to give them my credit card number for a new block. I got a quick responce that ended abrubtly with a "I will have Javier call you back on Monday." That was months ago.

Re: (turbodGSR)
Javier at JG does not take credit cards. The only reason I went to his shop was because Keith at JR said they were a reputable company. Keith is the JR tech but is horrible. I should have went with my gut feeling and went to Benson Machine.

they were/are a great shop that makes HUGE power. look at all their old cars when they were really hard in the game. they were fast. But with achievement comes request. They let their QC get the best of them...and have gotten slack. But they are still one of the most reputable shops if you ask me.
