I was pointed here to see if you guys could throw some knowledge my way on this topic. Basically there is a Jet Hot place near me and I am wanting to know what I can and cannot coat, what is worth coating and not coating, etc. I have read that getting the black coating(2k temp) for the exhaust manafold is the best for forced induction applications because of the temps seen. I am wondering what else can I coat on the turbo if any part at all and if there is anything else worth coating such as intercooler pipes, intake manafold...? Also is there any side effects in the long run? I dont want to have a piece flake off and be eaten by the motor, etc. I would expect some discoloring which is fine. Hope to get some feedback. Thanks
