i'm wondering whether to get the usdm or jdm version of the b18c for my 95 civic hatch.

the thing is that i'm gonna run stock for about a year before i boost.

when i do boost i'll probably run on stock internals for a while before doing a rebuild.

so... it is worth getting jdm with high compression especially since i'll be boosting eventually on stock internals.

 

Do a search, the jdm b18c runs .2 compression more.
Not that big of a deal.

i know the difference is small...

just an opinion question.

compression is the only difference i know of between the two.
are there any others that are significant?

 

nope they are basically identical.
