Default JB welding a BOV

My HKS BOV is being a bitch and keeps popping out, I know it's ghetto but if it would work and hold the pressure then I would do it. So will it hold the pressure? haha.

did you put it under the BOV or on top? see my snap ring will hold it on but not that well, I just want to ensure it will be help on under boost, and i'm tired of fighting with the snap ring.

1. you gotta make sure that snap ring is in there right along with rubber ring
2. make sure its tight and leveled
3. use metal clamp over bov to secure it in place - its not going anywhere once you get metal clamp over it <-- much better than jb weld to the flange and have problems removing/reselling

and if you got cheap ebay version like me, then step 4 and 5 are good to have

4. i used jb weld around vacuum fitting so it don't snap or fall out or leak
5. i used high temp black silicone all around where bov meets flange

what kind of metal clamp are you talking? could u send me a pic? Parts stores around here don't know anything about cars so if you say this is what i'm using it for they'll give you tape or something.

every auto store would sell something like that, even home depot.. just a regular metal hose clamp, something you would use on your radiator hose or intake tubing
