running stock boost, your wife will be fine with her car as it stands. Once it comes time to increase the pressure, you'll need more fuel.
My setup worked great at 6 psi with stock injectors, fuel pump, etc. As long as she doesn't get bit by the boost bug, you won 't have to spend any more money.

i would do a swap instead of SC a SOHC.
just think, with all that money spent on a SOHC, youll be jsut as fast as a B18 with bolt ons.
id just do a swap and then you can always upgrade and add parts to that motor instead. SHOC is just plain wasteful. I dont care if you want to be diffrent and try to go fast with that motor, you wont go fast and its not worth the energy. a swap would be just as expensive, maybe cheeper and you can upgrade that motor to run with the big boys

It's too bad people can't just answer a question without tellign you you are wrong or that you are stupid. That said:
To make it reliable you will need some kind of timing retard device and a map controller. You will find that even at stock boost levels the factory injectors are totally maxed out and you have to significantly raise the fuel pressure using a FMU.
For about the same amount of money as the bandaids and fuel tweeks with much more reliability you can get a s100 Hondata and larger injectors and get the thing tuned, which you will need to do wnyway. And since this is your wife I totally understand you desire for reliability.
If you have any other questions just PM me or hit me up on AIM at IntegraTypeR.

well i might have to agree with the SOHC comment. its true from everything i've heard, to some extent. people have built a lot of SOHC setups, NA and FI that make good power. however the JRSC SOHC kit is another story. i've heard it is a complete waste of money for the tiny amount of power that you gain. you really would be better off with a swap. then you could even stay NA and keep it nice and reliable. i dont know if this isnt what you wanted to hear, but i thought i would back up the other guy that kinda brought it up.

Re: jackson racing question.... (keebler65)
i know i can just SWAP the engine.... but i didn't wanna know that i can just swap the engine and then build that... If i wanted to go that way i might as well buy somthing that has an *** load of power and start there... all i wanted to know is what else is needed to put the JRSC on to a sohc engine.... thanks

How much is that supercharger kit???
I think I would prefer a turbo, but then, I have one on my car already. Just finished some tuning and think the car will be making more than 180 whp in the end.
How much whp is the JR kit supposed to make?
