Backwards? Lets see, my stock 7-bolt put down 430 WHP (to the front wheels) on pump gas and I've been driving it like that for probably 3 months. I cut 1.7 second 60 foots on 18" RADIAL tires, not DR's. I can drive it hard on the street without spinning like a bitch everywhere I go. When I get my 2.3L stroker in (probably spent as much on it as you would to get your stock stroke block sleeved with new pistons and rods) with my fully ported head, new intake manifold, and a bigger turbo (FP3065 uses a GT35R comp wheel + GT30 exhaust, moving up to something with more exhaust flow) low 11's at 125 on pump gas, street tires, full interior except for back seats. Compare that to my Civic than spun like a bitch on street tires even if I was just accelerating moderately hard getting onto the freeway or anything, I could squeek out a 2.1 second 60 foot on azenis that didn't last for ****, and there's the stigma of being a honda owner. No offense, I like hondas but I don't see how in any way moving to an AWD factory turbo car is taking a step backwards from a FWD economy car, especially if he wants some speed.

calm down Chip... i'm sure he didn't mean it that way. Marcos is my boy and he knows what kinda mode i'm in right now. taking on another big project like that is NOT what i want to get into right now... THAT's what he means by backwards. I've told him that i don't really want to spend anymore money modding cars right now... not really that practical. so in that respect it's a backward step. it's not a honda stigma i'm sure. i myself respect any car whatever it is... give credit where credit is due.

Sounds more practical, but to each his own.

Concord Fallacy, for anyone that's too lazy to look it up. Good reference
