Default Issues....Damn...

I have a manual boost controller ever since I got the motor in and no matter how much I adjust it, the boost is still at stock. It won't go over 7 or under 7 and it just stays there. I don't think it's leaking boost or anything because it holds boost all the way to the end so I'm guessing it MIGHT be the boost controller itself? BOV works fine, boost is good, but the boost won't go over 7 (stock). Another thing you might take in consideration is the idle is pretty high but I think I have that covered.

BTW, I have the BOV, and the MBC T'd together going directly to the manifold.

I hope someone can help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In general why? Is it better to let it have its own vac line?

typically you dont want to "T" into a MBC or EBC line, you dont want any "parasitic" vac lines feeding off of it. that needs to be untouched to remain as accurate as possible.

If I have a VAC leak somewhere, will it effect it? I'm boosting 7 and it stays as if there were no problem but maybe the MBC is just messed up? Please help. Also maybe I have a leak and it might be causing my motor to idle high?
