Internal Wastegate replacement.
I currently have a 16g td05 mitsubishi turbo, the current wastegate is set at 10psi but i want to run much lower than that. I recently learned that there are 7psi wastegate actuators that can replace my current actuator. Does anyone have any insight on doing this? I have no idea how to replace my actuator and on top of that....is replacing the actuator the only way to lower boost on an internal wastegate setup?

Its not hard to replace the actuators, most have c rings that are a pain to get off w/out the right tools, but it can be done w/pliars... the rest is just bolts attached to the compressor housing and turbine shell. I have no experience replacing them, but I have taken mine (IHI turbo) apart, and its easy to put back together.
