Default Intercooler Question

Does using an intercooler allow you to raise your boost level? or does it simply make more power @ the same amount of boost?

Default Re: Intercooler Question (B-Series Sol)

Just because you put on an intercooler doesn't mean you can raise the boost up too much. The intercooler just cools the air going into the intake manifold. Thus with the cooler air you will be able to make a couple of extra horses at the same boost level. Honda motors like colder air!
