Default Running without intercooler

Since I have everything done I just don't have an intercooler yet, well I have one but its still in my friends 944, can't I drive at low boost like 3 or 4 psi with out it?

you can drive with no boost? but it will be tempting....im sure its safe but ur risking it.

You can drive without an IC but just stay out of boost as much as you can. It's probably going to cause some damage to the turbo over time w/o an IC.....but make sure you get one asap...

What are you talking about?

You can run without an intercooler for as long as you please.

You won't damage anything.

Only difference is the air your motor is ingesting won't be as cold.

of course you can drive around without an IC....but is it good for your car? prolly not. why even try to risk it?

Edit: your so close to reaching boost why create future delays with busted ring lands.

running w/o an intercooler shouldn't damage the turbo at all considering that all it does is cool the air before it reaches the engine

ran my Zcar with NO IC for two years untill got an IC, 7PSI on 9.0:1 CR, stock L28 with has MUCH lower anti-detonation properties.
