Default intercooler piping size?

alright, i was wanting to go with 2.25" piping, but the guy who is making the piping is out of it right now and only has 2.5" piping, i was wondering is if this would cause a significant amount of lag on my setup, which is a T3 60/48 on a d16y8.

2.5" piping is fine. That's what I'll be using with my Y8.

Yes, you can get a rubber hose to connect it. For example, mine wil go from 2.5" to 2" to hook up to the turbo.

No, it will make practically zero difference in the amount of lag. PM me if you want me to explain why I say this.

It won't even lag by a few 100 rpms. The 2.5" piping is better, IMO.

2.5 will work fine and you will have no lag. What turbo are you running
