Default intercooler and piping

err...

I'm looking for an intercooler and piping kit for the bf as a christmas present...

he got a xs turbo from his friend and he is piecing it together, but kinda lacks the time... I don't want to ask him any questions about what kind of intercooler he wants... I know for a fact he doesn't want an FCIM LOL...

he has a 91 CRX SI Body with a JDM b18 motor...

any suggestions???? blow off vavle also!! [;

Well I will start you off and try to help out, but we need a little more info.

Whats are some HP goals?

What are you looking to spend?

I'm sure he wants a nice clean fit so a smaller not HUGE intercooler would be great.

Buy a kit that utilizes 2.5" piping as just about everyone on here uses it.

check out eBay they are not the greatest intercoolers but work for now. Also if you want to spend the money a Precision intercooler in the way to go.

I've checked ebay, and i'm not really seeing anything that i like... as far as HP around 250 - 300

I'm not looking to spend $thousands of dollars on one LOL I've seen some pretty high cost ones out there...

Something that will last awhile with good performance [;

thanks, i think that i am just going to get an aem ems...

i'm thinking that its probably the best thing to do because he wont have to worry about a boost controller or anything else like that, he can work out the intercooler himself hahaha

that way if it is the wrong intercooler it will be his fault hahaha
