Default Streamline Intercooler piping* check it out.

For the last few months ive been looking for intercooler piping for a decent price. About a week ago i found this deal on ebay 150 shipped for piping. So i figured why not take a gamble. End result: happy!

I have that kit as well, it's a Spoolin' Performance intercooler piping kit. Phil sells them in bulk to Streamline Motoring, and they sell it off as their own piping kit

BTW, you ordered the wrong kit (if you have a DC2). That's an EK kit, what I have. They sell a Spoolin' Performance DC2 kit for $160 shipped. Whoops!

Ehh, who knows...it could be the research I've done before buying the kit, the different eBay listings, the different listings on Phil's website, the physical differences that you can see between the piping kits, having a clue...etc.

Did Phil directly tells you that he sells to that company on eBay to be resold under a different name? Nowhere in your research did you find reason to what you are saying. That design is pretty easy to replicate. My point is you shouldn't make those kind of comment and spread nonsense rumors.

Most, if not all company's on ebay get there stuff directly from China, or else they're making no money at all.

A lot of other company's don't want to be affiliated with company's from China because of the bad rep, but some of the stuff does work well.

Thats what I'm running in my car. It fits real well, only thing I don't like is the civic kit is 2.25" but I think it will be fine for now. I don't see how spoolin performance sells them for $265 when you can get the same exact thing off Ebay for $150 shipped.
People are paying for the name spoolin performance but in reality its the SAME EXACT product.

Thats the kit I got for my DC2. **** worked amazing, and for 160 bucks for aluminum you cant beat it.

Also it REALLY REALLY doesnt make sense that Spoolin makes it and then sells it to someone else. Especially since he would apparently have them selling it for over 100 bucks less than he charges. It makes more sense for them to sell them to him and he is trying to pass it off for more since he calls it his. But I really just speculate.

*sigh*, Phil personally told me that he sells HIS piping kits to Streamline in bulk (i.e. orders of 200+ at a time), and they are able to sell it on eBay for that cheap...so thank you for spreading nonsense rumors yourself.

Ditto, wholesale pricing thanks to no overhead and buying in bulk FTW

I guess if he tell you but it still hard to believe. He must have made them a heck of deal for them to be able to sell them significantly lower than spoolin performance sells them for.

It's all profit margin! He knows that he can sell them at $265, because people will pay for it! There's no way it cost him anywhere NEAR $265 to buy or have those pipes bent. But hey, I give him and all the other vendors props for being able to sell piping for those prices because they know the average joe can't fab up nice piping like that

But also props to companies like SRE who can provide the same product at a much lower price, thanks to buying in bulk and virtually no overhead.
