Default Intercooler Piping

Im piecing together my turbo and have a GT35r. I plan on buying a precision 600hp intercooler but I wanted to know if it's feasable to buy intercooler piping off of ebay? I plan on getting aluminum piping but 1, it's mostly "universal" or non specific and if it is I don't see my year (90 4 door LS) and 2, would the materials be low quality or anything that wouldn't do the job??. Last question, if this isn't the way to go do you guys have any shops or sites that sell a piping kit for my model?? Thanks guys lmk

Intercooler piping is one of the very few "ebay" brands I would buy. Look for any 90-93 Integra piping kits, 4 dr, 2dr, it doesnt matter. How well will it fit? I dont know. You are better off buy a kit of bends and fab up your own piping kit.

yeah i was thinkin it was a little sketchy but i didnt know if they quality varied from other places but then again it IS ebay lol. But yeah i'll def. do some more research on some DA kits even though its tuff **** to find. And i don't have acess to a welding machine or a welder so i think fab'ing one is out of the question

I think my best bet would be to get it custom fab'd because now that I think about it im going with a bigger throttle body quite possibly a 70mm.

A 94-01 Teg ans 90-93 Teg are no where close to being similar as far as fitment goes between the 2 chassis. We have charge pipe kits available for both chassis.

Alot of that ebay piping is also anodized, paper thin and may weld up like crap, so be careful there.

Here's a DA example, the DC stays inside the framerail, the DA is similar to the CRX...just a tad bit more difficult as far as fitment goes.

Mandrel bends are bends that maintain a continuous pipe diameter. They are created using a mandrel insert, which is where they get their name. Your typical exhaust shop will bend a pipe using a crush bend method, where the pipe is bent and crumples at the joint, or by using a roller to prevent bends (but that still decreases pipe diameter during the bend).

Mandrel bends are far superior, but you don't bend them yourself. You buy mandrel bends and weld them together.

Put it back to stock before you blow it up and take it to a shop that knows what they are doing.

we're local and can help you fab up some piping for your car and tune you car in house with our inhouse dynojet 224

Stop driving your car before you flow it up because you really need a tune before you ruin something
