Default intercooler flow ?

i have a intercooler with 2.5" in and out. i'm looking @ buying an intercooler piping kit from SRE (streamline) off of e-bay, piping is 2" @ turbo to intercooler, 2.25" to throttle body. my turbo, Garrett T-3/T-4 57 63trim has a 2" outlet. My question is, will my intercooler slow down the flow? i'm planning on making close to 300 whp. i don't want to effect my spool.

benefits from the intercooler far outweigh any cons that it produces.

Btw, you need to fix your sig. Its tial

no, i'm talking about the 2" to 2.5" step up to the intercooler and the 2.5" to 2.25" step down coming out.
I know about the h.p advantages by just adding an intercooler

with the turbo you're using, you should run 2.5" all around...IMO

i dont think the inlets and outlets are gonna matter much. what size is the core? if its huge then yeah you might see a slight increase in lag. probably not enough to worry about.

if you were worried about losing response in the piping, you should have bought a smaller intercooler
