Default Intercooler Inquiry

Found this and was curious if anybody as used/tested one of these to any success for dropping IAT?

You would have to install it outside the engine bay for it to get ambient air. Otherwise, It would do more harm than good, it would just soak up engine bay heat and make the pipe hotter than it normally would be.... not really something to waste money on.

Makes sense. If it's not a backdoor intercooler, but a straight flow through, it could be mounted right at the inlet, after the J-bend and one on the outlet, before the j-bend. They would be outside the engine bay and hidden by the bumper cover.

not worth it IMO.
Yes its a heatsink so it will help move the heat but i just dont see it being worth it.
Id spend the money on some heat tape
