Default install of my intercooler

I know this is ghetto but it is how I found the car after it has been stolen a year ago. How should I manage to fit the intercooler on the pdriver side?? now the intercooler pipe is sitting to low. should I/can I cut the metal as pointed to make a hole to pass the pipe? or is there another way?? bwetter solution easier?

thanks

thanks alot for your inputs

Cut a hole in the drives side splash guard and route the pipe that way. You'll have to remove the washer bottle but that is the easiest way if you care about ground clearance.

you definitely shouldn't cut that part it'll weaken the **** out of your frame. but it looks like you can route it in a u shape on top of the intercooler and into the engine bay, you might need to chop your bumper holding beam thing and reinforce it , or the best thing to do there since the intercooler has seen better days(no offense) is to cut the entrance out and weld in one in the back to make a back door intercooler that way their is no ground clearance issue and it'll be cleaner.
