What do you guys think about these Treadstone intercoolers?

This is the one I want the most (24x10.5x3.5 core), but the seller claims he doesn't have any more detailed pics of that black Si or how it's mounted, so I enlarged the pic slightly:

This is the next size down (22x7.8x3.5 core):

You should check out Buzzbomb's thread. His Treadstone intercooler is just a bit shorter than the second one I posted, and he was able to keep his foglights and full bumper support. Or, you could get a Greddy type 31. I have one on my car now with foglights and made 335whp, but that getting close to the max it can support.

I think I paid 350 for the cooler but Its a bit big if you want to keep your bumper support.

see i like having the majority of the intercooler fill up the hole. The opening is about 28 inches, so i figure i can go a little smaller width wise because i don't mind seeing end tanks, but i don't want to see the couplers.

For example JDM EM1's IC is beautiful, but i don't like the space between the end tanks and the bumper.

JDM Rice's example is okay. You can see the End tanks, but the whole bumper area is filled. I can live with that.

what brand and sizes are your intercoolers? I'm looking to get something relatively cheap.

Here's what mine looks like, although it and my front end look like trash thanks to awesome new england winters

That's perfect! It's not possibly to add foglights with that size intercooler?

Sure it is, anything is possible with enough cash.

With a chop saw, a welder, and some piping - anything is possible. I still have my window washer res and enough room for fogs on my eg, and with an EK with a lip, it should be easy as pie. People are just afraid to make any modifications to their charge piping, which is the easiest part of the kit to change.
