Intercooled Supercharger??

Intercooled Supercharger??
I've heard of this being done. Does anyone have any info on the subject?
Since your pulling the cooler air in from (presumably) a CAI, then would the need for a intercooler (besides the "coolness" factor) really be beneficial?

Yes, an aftercooler would be beneficial, even if one is running a CAI. The blower heats the ambient air to temps well above ambient.
