Intake Manifolds: Golden Eagle design vs. JG design
Hey guys, trying to decide which budget manifold I should take a look at, I'm not sure the difference in design-- but I'd love to get your opinions:

Re: Intake Manifolds: Golden Eagle design vs. JG design (integranator)
both have worked well for boosted applications. most people end up going with the JG b/c it is proven and is usually like 200 bucks cheaper than the GE.

What people need to look at is the POWERBAND the intake manifold was made for, I too often see everyone on Honda Tech with an Edelbrock Victor X manifold, this mani is designed for 7000-10000rpm so if you have a stock motor revving to 8000rpm you aren't making the most of that intake manifold and a Skunk2 would work out better even. What good is a 1000rpm powerband? I know of a local customer who has a stock LS motor boosting and made like 40whp more with a stock LS intake manifold than his Victor X because he is only revving to like 7500rpm
The Edelbrock Victor X is very proven but I feel only if you are revving to at least 9000rpm. My .02

Re: (Boostfed.com)
ive had better luck with the edelbrock manifold. used it on numerous stock motor cars and picked up power. even picked up power on all motor cars with it.
anybody know anybody selling a full-race intake manifold? looking for another.
