Installing Walbro fuel pump?
Its not too bad at all. You do not have to pull the tank. Just unscrew a couple bolts, pull out the fuel pump, and replace it w/ the walbro intank.

comes out from the top. All you have to do is take off the cover. Very easy, very self explanitory.
The bolts can be a bitch sometimes.
I also used a fan just to blow away the fumes, but it's not necessary

It depends on what year you own. Us 88-91 guys got the shaft on this one. If you're running an ED/EF, you've gotta drop the tank.

If you have a 88-91civic/crx you must drop the whole gas tank which is a BITCH.. i would just use a inline pump if thats the case. If its a 92-00 civic/delsol/integra take the back seats out and unbolt 6 10mm nuts and pull the pump out sitwch the pump and plug and play.
just take the bottom back seats off and from there you could get access to the fuel pump by removing the top covers, i think with the walbro pump you can't use the stock rubber bottom piece it will not fit with the new pump, just use a zip tie and tie the pump to the bracket holding the pump
i was told to re-wire the system for the HP pump, as it draws too much current......

i would highly suggest installing a relay.......
As the walbro pumps draws a hell of alot more current..... And leaving the stock wiring to supply this most likely cause your main relay to fail.
Just look at the stock wiring for the fuel pump its like 22G .... crazy....

I have been using GSS342's in my car for two years without any problems. All wiring is stock like the majority of the Honda users.
