input on my 550whp lsvtec
I am just looking for some input on my turbo setup. I am looking to make 550whp on pump gas and water/meth and run 10.99 or better. would this be able to be reached with this setup?
what i have now:
golden eagle sleeved ls block (81.5mm)
gsr head, stock now (i polished the exhaust ports right to a shine, didnt touch the intake side yet)
golden eagle lsvtec kit
precision billet 6262 .82ar (journal bearing)
big fmic
tial 50mm bov / 44mm wastegate
2.5" intercooler piping
1200cc RC injectors
"jdl design" ramhorn manifold
mfactory lsd and ls tranny (sir final drive)
3" open downpipe
what I am buying"
forged pistons (9:1-10:1)
eagle rods
24.5x8x13 slicks
traction bar.
aem map sensor
ectune
wideband/boost gauge
victorx intake manifold/aftermarket throttle body(not sure what one yet)
AEM water/meth kit
I am thinking about upgradeing to skunk2 spring/retainers and getting a set of pro1 or pro2 cams. I wonder if I could do without this upgrade to reach to goal for now and leave this for down the road? what kind of gains could i be looing at with this upgrade?

ive seen pro1s make around 50 more hp than type r cams. 550 is a very realistic goal for your setup. i would use e85 or c16 just my preference

Re: input on my 550whp lsvtec
im from maine as well. one thing ur gona need to do is find a good tuner, unfourtunitly there also is no 93 oct. fuel anywhere in maine either, i had a 500whp teg a few months back that i built, and for fuel i mixed avgas 100LL at the airport with 91 oct. 50/50 and that gave me 95.5 oct.
GL with the build, i do alot of custom metal fab like turbo kits, manifolds, exhaust systems, i especially familiar withthe integra so if you need anything, hit me up
