Could i make ethanol and run it just like e85. I live in the mountians of nc moonshine is second nature around here. i dont make it or drink it (well some times) but i know how to make it. i can make very easy for about 1$ a gallon would i tune my car just like i tune a car for e85

 

yes but its going to take the engine along time to warm up. E85 is 85% alcohol. it would be better to run some gas with it. It will help lube the fuel pump and injectors. I would mix it with 100 or 110 race gas at a 10% gas 90% alcohol rate. That would give you the best bang for your buck.
