Im just so tired of arguing with stupid on this forum, I honestly don't feel like digging up the threads regarding RC injectors but I mean if I have to take the time out of my night to do it, I guess ill post the threads later on.

I remember people talking about them getting stuck open with higher then rated fuel pressures. Was completely user error iirc. Doesn't mean they suck. If they did this thread wouldn't be number 2 on Google with the query "RC Injectors suck".

Not going to argue here just have never in 12 years (actually I think its 14) had a problem with them. Can't say that about anything else I have ever purchased for my car other then maybe my Aeromotive FPR and Spearco intercooler. Granted I don't put many miles on my car... I did log about 50k with the 440s.

RC injectors are based on old lucas disc type technology, they arent designed for high pressures and the RC theory of spray patterns is that a dense stream of fuel blasted against the back face of the valve atomizes better then trying to atomize the fuel at the tip of the injector. This theory has been proven wrong time and time over. This type of spray pattern is what causes the rough idle because the fuel is not atomized well when airflow is low.

The newer injector types that you see with ID injectors and RDX injector conversions use high pressures, and extremely fine mist atomization directly at the tip of the injector and fog the gas mix into the cylinder. Not only has this been dyno proven time and time again (some showing gains of up to 25hp depending on the severity of the atomization loss in some of the firehose sized RC injectors) but they allow the car to idle better and increase the efficiency of the engine thus resulting in higher MPG.

There was an entire thread, with VIDEO dedicated to this whole subject months ago. Ill have to find it when I have some free time.

Ive had Rc 750CC without any issues...I know there are two different models (one is for High pressure and the other is for base) Not sure if that is still how it is though.

Ive never had issues and mine are maxed out (sig below) IF i were to upgrade i would definatly get ID's. However i wouldnt say that RC's suck . I have heard of issues just have never ran into them personally. Mine idle like stock, but again i need to upgrade and will be getting id 1000's

i don't think anyone will argue that newer injector design (ex: ID's) are superior but that doesn't make RC's "garbage". as you can tell from this thread, there are plenty of people using RC's just fine. i've used saturated 550's and p/h 1000's with zero issues.

the only time i can remember hearing of problems with RC was with higher CC saturated injectors (ex: when 750's first came available). and yes, that was basically a limitation of the technology. ID has obviously found a better design for high CC saturated injectors.

I guess we can take it for what it is. RC from what i have used and seen are good injectors, but Ive not been one of the guys that's had problems with them.. But like everything out there now days. There is always something better. AKA ID1000's. As it sits im still unsure what im going to go with. But i do appreciate everyone's help on this matter.

The End.
I had pictures and such of RC injectors compared to pintle type, gm motec, and the newer style that you see in the RDX and ID injectors, i just cant find them on my computer. Needless to say, i think the video of the RDX injectors speaks for itself.

im pretty sure he didnt ask what the ebst injector out was, but he did ask if rc1000's will work and in this thread it has been proven that yes they work

are the id1000's a better injector hell yah they are, but this does not mean the rc's dont work
