Injectors for boost?
Looking to run a set of RC injectors, But unsure on what CC to get. Setup will be a stock ls with a ram horn manifold/t3-t4e 60 trim. Shooting for 300+ wheel. But have a second block being built for 400+hp by next year. So if i can get a set that will support both that would be great. Any help would be great.

Re: Injectors for boost?
first off rc engineering injectors suck. especially when trying to raise the fuel pressure. there are videos on youtube showing them just shutting off at higher fuel pressures. just my .02 but around 750cc should be enough for your goals

Re: Injectors for boost?
PM me with what your asking for them, Could possibly be interested.
I found a good deal on a set of RC 550cc for a steal of a deal. So i was going to go with them just cuz they are so inexpensive. But i doubt they can support the 400+ goal i have for the second motor.

Not dead set on RC's, Ive just used them before with good results. But that was almost 10 years ago. Will have to read up on ID1000's a bit. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Injectors for boost?
I used RC440s on my stock b16a2 and had no problems and I put down 330whp and 225wtq average off four runs with a gt3076r on 11.5 psi; but I'm the process of building a motor with similar power goals and I'm gonna go with ID 1000s. Might as well just spend the money now and get ID 1000s this way you save some money in the long run.

Re: Injectors for boost?
everyone stating RC injectors are garbage are brainwashed by the typical honda-tech hypeing up of products....
think back to just a few years ago to before ID came out with their injector type...the ONLY injectors to use were RC and they worked well....i used RC injectors for over 25k and never had an issue as well as thousands of others....if you can't get your car to run/perform right with ANY injector then you need to stop what you are doing and find a real tuner.
yes the ID injectors are good but to state the RC's suck is just plain ignorant....
to the OP....choose whatever you feel comfortable running....
p.s. i'm NOT running RC or ID's right now. i'm not ranting because of the RC bashing...im just sick of seeing wrong/stupid information being passed out.

you are a ****ing idiot spewing the bullshit you have heard other people say.
rc1000's/precision pt67/base of 80psi made 650/410
hows that for they suck, and when trying to raise the pressure

i say to the op get with your tuner and see what he suggests to you because what he is comfy with using will greatly enhance your performance

Re: Injectors for boost?
So stop passing out wrong and stupid information, its been public knowledge that RC injectors suck *** for years now. They are the only injectors most consistent with idle problems in anything over 550cc out of any injector on the market because of their horrible spray patterns and consistent problems with high pressure applications.

Re: Injectors for boost?
Done and done. He recommended ID or RC's He runs and sells both. As for the RC sucking comments. I ran them on a greddy kit that i had on a 00 SI what?, some 10 years ago now. They where 440cc RC's and i didnt have a problem with them. But that car only made 220 wheel. So im sure there is a large difference from the 220 that car made. to the 300+ i am looking to make.

Re: Injectors for boost?
I have been using RC's for 12 years. I have a set of 440s and 750s. Zero Idle problems. Only reason I am swapping them out is they won't give me enough for the next turbo.
